Immersion heaters, Thermostats. 3-way and 2-way valves, Stop Cocks and Service valves are common plumbing failure points in homes. Valves that don't shut off in an emergency e.g. damaged pipe, burst pipe or other leaks can be especially distressing. These can easily be checked and repaired or replaced before they become an expensive problem.
